As a TIG pipe welder, you will be involved in the fabrication and maintenance of various stainless steel piping systems. This can be done either in a workshop or at a project site. You will work with components such as valves, pumps, measuring- and control equipment, and assemble them according to engineering drawings. Your attention to detail and precise workmanship enables you to identify and rectify any imperfections. You will be working both independently and in a team setting

Activities:

• Performing various assembly and welding tasks on stainless steel piping systems and installations.
• Interpreting and following engineering drawings.
• Monitoring the quality of the executed tasks.
• Using modern tools and equipment.

Job requirements

• Experience in TIG welding.
• Possession of a 141 FM5 certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Possession of a VCA-VOL diploma (safety certificate).
• Knowledge of the specific characteristics of stainless steel and process installations.
• Knowledge of the application of sanitary and aseptic design.
